Reasons for Processing Collected Data
We collect your personal data for the purpose of:
- Fulfilling our obligations to customers.
- Creating and preserving legal documents in accordance with accounting principles.
- Managing the use of the Service, including maintaining a list of special requests, verifying that the customer has effectively used the service, and keeping a record of customers who have violated the purchase terms or service usage regulations.
- Improving our services, especially through the processing of your personal data within our customer marketing program to conduct marketing activities, promote brands, and gain a better understanding of your needs and desires.
Collected Data
- Business and/or personal contact data (surname, name, phone number, email address, etc.).
- Personal information (date of birth, nationality).
- User interests regarding the processed information.
- Questions/comments before, during, and after using our services.
Information related to minors is only processed with the prior consent of an adult exercising effective rights over the minor. Not all our data collection systems can guarantee that the data subject is indeed of legal age. We do not voluntarily collect confidential information about race, ethnicity, political opinions, religious and philosophical beliefs, union membership, or information related to health or sexual orientation.
How the Information is Collected
Data is collected through dedicated electronic forms on reference websites, created and managed by the Data Controller (also through specialized providers). The information is entered into the dedicated form either directly by the data subject or by operators appointed by the Data Controller as indicated by the data subject:
- Customer email contact to Simco Srl email addresses.
- Customer phone contact to Simco Srl call centers.
- The possibility of collecting and/or storing data in paper format is not provided in business procedures.
- Data collection occurs during contact (request for information via email, phone, or social networks) and during the execution of the Service; at the end of the Service usage for marketing purposes.
This document applies to all channels and methods of data collection and storage directly attributable to Simco Srl.
How the Information is Stored and Protected
Simco Srl implements strict prevention and protection measures to ensure the security of data processing. The data subject interested in delving into these rules can request information at privacy@simcoconsulting.com.
Use of Data in Automated Processes
- Processed data is not used in an automated manner.
- It is used for macroscopic analysis purposes to provide the customer with information and proposals in line with their interests and behaviors.
- The analyses mainly provide the Data Controller with the following information: user interests in certain categories of products and services, purchase frequency and return rate on initiatives proposed by Simco Srl, composition of the service user core, user attention to proposals from Simco Srl, area of residence.
Data Sharing
- Data may be shared with third parties when such sharing is necessary to provide the service used by the customer.
- Within Simco Srl, it may be processed by Simco Srl personnel, IT departments, marketing services, legal department, tax, and labor consultants.
- Local authorities: Simco Srl may also be required to send its information to local authorities if required by law or as part of an investigation and in accordance with local regulations.
- Data is shared with other sponsoring/partner companies of Simco Srl.
Access to Data and Deletion
- The data subject can request the Data Controller at any time via email at privacy@simcoconsulting.com for information about their data processed by the Data Controller, the methods and purposes of processing, their correction and/or deletion.
- Deleting the data may result in the Data Controller's inability to provide the customer with the service in whole or in part. Deletion will not be possible if data retention is required by law.
- Regarding deletion, Simco Srl reserves the right to assess individual requests and their compatibility with the retention obligations of the Data Controller. Simco Srl also reserves the right, as provided by the current GDPR, to wholly or partially reject the data access request if it is objectively unfounded or requires the Data Controller's unjustified significant commitment.
Complaints
The data subject can file a complaint at any time with the relevant privacy authority (Privacy Guarantor) if they believe there has been or is a violation of their rights.
Update
The Data Controller reserves the right to modify and/or update this document periodically. Therefore, data subjects are urged to review it regularly.
